When you're cooking for others, do you cook to your taste or do you try to accomodate the taste of others?

I've learned to cook to the taste of others since I have to cook for my daughter. Also, I have a taste for different spices, seasonings, etc. and those tend to be "non-soulfood" for the most part. I do prepare things for test subjects since my daughter is not very reliable.

I usually cook to my taste, except when my momma comes to town....she is a health conscious, no salt, fat free, low sodium bandit!
