OK, the day before Thanksgiving, I got a perm!!!!

I just didn't have the patience to keep braiding my hair to grow out my perm!!

Girl, I ain't even mad at you on that tip. . . .those who can persevere more power to you. I'm just weak as hell when it comes to the relaxer or other straightening products. . . .I'm just an assimilating mofo when it comes to hair :(

mine too. I just need it to make my hair easy to manage. It is also less time consuming to have a perm. wrap it at night, get up in the morning, bump the ends, and I am gone.

I used chemicals (texturizer) in my hair and probably will continue to do so for the duration. Ain't nothing cute about my hair in it's natural state.
