Ok here we go people.....thinking today, that we have a very powerfull group, with opinions and knowledge and expertise but many of us don't know about the other persons expertise.

So here is the opportunity to list your skills and will be a reference point to others if we are in need of an expert.

So I will start, but in the Title of your post list your positions or area's that you are skilled, then in the body explain a little about your background.

This will help build a network of professionalism within the Hush and is a great reference point when we are in need of so help.

So the idea is for everyone to POST. EVERYONE because we all do something really good, so don't be shy.

Keep on ROCKn it....

Thanks for your input Q, but to be honest, my resume is a lil more intense. You know where ya start dropping Fortune(sp) 500 names and stuff.....but everyone post what ya feel the whole purpose is to network mane.

i was just tryna get more input by showing that you don't have to post as much detail as your post...even though u didnt include the company names.

Now ICE if I wanted to say give you some business or seek some help from you.

With you just writing Computer Stuff, do you think I would have a clear idea of how I can help ICE or ICE help me. And Real Estate? To what capacity?

Example:

A friend of mine went out with the Marketing Director of Cigular Wireless. She says she is looking for a minority ad agency. I worked at one and still was cool with the owner. We, my friend and I, hooked the two up and made $20,000. But if she just said I am in Marketing, then I would not have been able to open my eyes to an opportunity that was win win for 4 individuals.

You see what I am getting at, or the writing is not on the wall still for you?

Rock on.

Ain't NOBODY got no job here?

Too funny!

Here's me:

Currently a word processor for a CPA firm (mid-market, just outside of the Big 4). I produce all the financial statements for our clients. I can pretty much handle most word processing/desktop publishing tasks from simple data entry/database management to complicated document formats and conversions. I reach my limit at pre-press. FWIW, I'm an MOS Expert Level.

Was a notary for a while, but recently resigned my commission because I thought I was moving out of state. May become commissioned again later to pick up some extra money on loan docs.

I have done freelance work in the past to pick up some extra cash and experience, but not currently soliciting work. www.atpoffice.com

Have dabbled in web design and web management. Did some volunteer work about a year ago for The Wellness Community getting their site up and running. www.wellnesscommunityoc.org
I may head down this path again, since the work is interesting and I have lots of server space and bandwidth that isn't being used.

Next goal on the list is a group instructor certification from ACE. I am interested in teaching yoga and wellness. My focus would be the folks who don't have the cash flow to join the gym or pay for expensive classes. Wouldn't really be a money maker, just something that interests me.

Don't have a degree. Probably would have an associate's if I added up all the credits from my various classes since 1982. Probably won't pursue a degree in any business-related field at this time. For the type of services I provide, I've never had a client that cared.

I do free lance writing - Anything from Dear John letters to love poetry for weddings and Valentine's Day to obituaries and church programs. If you need it well written let me know.

I DON'T do research papers, if it needs research...do your own and I'll put the words together for ya but I don't have the time for the research end of it.

I designed my own website but don't really consider myself a web designer. However I could point you in the right direction, and help out since I have experience with desk top publishing and web design.
