I don't remember that. I had been out of school for 2 years by then, had done 10 months of secretarial school and had probably just started my first job after secretarial school.

I think I was in Junior high, we had these computers and I used them learning Basic and Pascal at an early age. I remember going to the local Radio Shack and programing things all the time.

I remember them computers well.

Dude! I remember this well! I was just starting to get into computers. The TI computers were the best looking out there...but still I longed for a Atari 800 personal computer (I ended up getting the Atari 800 XL pc a year or two later)

Our school had the Tandy computers and we were programming in BASIC doing "infininite loops" on the schreen etc. I loved that time. That was the time when I became hooked on computers! :D Thanks for the memories!

What was the storage space, like 256K, and we were saying what are we gonna do with all that room? LOL When they doubled it to 516K and it seemed like things were getting out of hand. When I first started word processing, typing the white characters on the green screen, no more typewriter correction mess... thought it was the space ages!

By the way, Thriller was just being released.
Prince was still wearing fishnets...
"And when you think of Laura, laugh, don't cry, I know she'd want it that way..."

Frist PC a friend had (Dulce's Brother) was a CLASSIC MacIntosh. That was around 1983. In 82, I was still banging away on Mom's old Royal type writer. The shyt weighed about 15lbs.

Ribbon had 2 colors, black and red. Ity was NOT electric and I had gallons of "White Out". Banging out Term Papers took hours!!!!!

Naw, I do not remember the Cosby PC commercials.....Hell Cosby might not even remember them nowadays.

White Out got old quick. I always made a mess. I used the eraseable typing paper, and then snuck into the department office and copied the sheets so it wouldn't rub clean. At the least use those little tabs that you can hold up over the typo, and you type it again to erase it. It became easier to just type all reports, even if they weren't asking for it. It seriously improved my grades.
