My parents are from Louisiana but I spent so many summers there I have to claim it. I’m a native Texan but Louisiana is in my blood.

I have never heard of anyone having trouble because of their skin color but sadly I do have some folks in my family who have that light skin/dark skin complex…..we just put them on ignore…...everyone has stupid folks in their family. My daddy is dark but so cool they couldn’t help but love him.
