Fam, I was driving the otherday and saw a sistah in a 450SL Mercedes (hard top). I was cracking up! I then recalled that back in the 1970's...the smaller your ride was, the more it cost and the more status you had, cars like these were untouchable by niggas in the hood.

Our Jr High Gym teacher had a Truimph TR6 back in '72, and he would park it right in the school yard. We used to take turns taking a running start and jumping clean over it side to side, until one dude busted his ass good.

We rented a Pontiac Fiero back in '84, and that is a scary ass car, it sits so low to thew ground, it felt like you were out there with nothing around you. A tractor trailer would blow by at highway speed, and you'd think it was the end of the world. I also had to squeeze out of that mug on my knees, so I had to make sure I parked where I wasnt on display getting in or out of it.

My oldest son's father has a corvette. He took me for a ride in that thing and I thought I was in a car that Fred Flintstone owned. Its too low to the ground and to me the ride is rough.
