...but in college, that was the old favorite at a couple spots in Hampton. It was the perfect ruse. We go in with back packs, and hit the buffet that had full pieces of fried chicken, loading ten pieces a piece. Then slowly sneak pieces in the bag as we ate. It got too popular, and some knuckleheads from campus messed up on an occasion that we weren't there. They discontinued the chicken, which was the only thing worth going for.

My mother-in law would not be above packing some stuff away, not by design of getting over, but sometimes she can't even finish the one plate she got. She considered herself entitled to have a doggie bag. It's not pretty, hearing an arguement between two people when Moms has a heavy west indian accent, and the restaurant manager has a heavy Korean accent. Lots and lots of repeating going on. Moms won the arguement though. I went to warm up the car, in case Moms had to make a break for it, with a little Korean lady hanging onto one leg:D

Yes I have done it, but not with the intention of getting over. Just couldn't finish the rest and just wrapped that piece of chicken up because I couldn't see just throwing away a whole piece of chicken.

God rest her soul used to carry ziplock bags in her purse at all times. She not only took food at all you can eat restaurants but church outings, family dinners, whatever. RTFLOL :p

I've taken home a few things but growing up watching that kind of made me not want to hoard food...EVER!!!!

see what had happen was, ummm ...no see I didn't plan to take food out the restaurant, butter..ummm

I went to Phillip's (Ocean City, Md) and they had crab cakes right, and ummm they are so damn good and ummmm...I had to take some back to my room they was calling my name...:p

I don't even know why I go to those All You Can Eat places. . cause I usually only eat one serving. . . :rolleyes: Just a waste of money, huh~??
