I saw a report last night that said that flu shot lil bottles are up from what it was 3 mos ago

$23 to $150.

Does this sadden anybody else?

I have insurance...could care less....plus they give them free for employees here.

u really didnt answer the question, tee. are you saying that it doesnt bother you when there is price gauging? do u realize that even though your insurance or whatever pays for your shots...that ultimately it raises the price of your insurance and your taxes?

2. Every year they find some excuse to raise taxes and my insurance...insurance going up @10 next year.

They raise the price on any and everything that's in demand, flu shots, Harry Potter toys, etc.

true dat re: the supply and demand thing but having worked in healthcare (the marketing end of it) for almost 9 years, I can honestly say that like any other business, it's all about the money. You would think that at least healthcare would truly be about helping folks get & stay healthy. Personally, I couldn't take that bullshit anymore and had to get out...

i ain't trippin over the prices being raised........

i trip over whether my company is gonna keep with the trends and raise my salary so i can afford such things.............

It is sad...just like when gas prices went up to 5.00 a gallon on September 11. Doing whatever for the almighty dollar.
