Fam, when you are sick, how many days do you take off from work?

Q: Do you not return to work until you are 100% cured or do you take 1-2 days off and come back even if you do not feel better?

Q: How do you feel working next to a sick person who will not go home?

I go back when i feel better, that's if i'm really sick. I use my sick days for other reasons as well...:evil: ;)

I have my own office so i don't have to worry about working next to sick folks.

When I get sick, I get sick. So I come back when the doctor tells me to. So that means when I am feeling better. These people here don't care about me, so I don't worry about the office and what needs to be done. I worry about me getting better.

I hate, absolutely hate when a person is sick and won't go home. I am continually telling them, go home, rest and get better and stop trying to infect the whole office. This work will be here or someone else will do it. TAKE YO SICK ASS HOME!:blah:

I also use my sick days for other things too:evil: I used one this past Monday:D

Sick leave has two uses (1) when you're really sick and (2) when you need a mental health/slick day. I use either whenever needed, for either one or two days.

i have never been able to afford to take time off when i am sick. and so i am so "trained" to come to work.......that they make me go home.

i'm that person that won't go home......until they kick me out.....(needs to make sure i'll get paid for a full days work!)

My jive ass job does not give any sick days, so unless I have a fever, or can't move...I'm working. Sorry to infect the whole office but if the damn boss would give a sista some sick days I'd be glad to take them.
