I have been hearing about the pill that makes only 4 periods and the cervical ring and the fact the IUD is still available, but I want to know - is the sponge back in the states yet?
Not that I foresee having non-condom sex in the very near future, but I used to love those things back in the day. I know you can get them in canada but every blue moon I do look on the shelves and I don't see them anymore.
I have to say damn HIV and AIDS and other funky ass shit - I'm bout sick of condoms on the real. Don't have a REASON per say of why I'm sick of them, they are a necessary evil, but well I'm just sick of I guess the connotation that revolves around the need to have to use condoms, lol

a lady came from the health department and spoke in my human sexuality class. made me not want to have sex for a second or two. (but dont ask what i was doing the next night...:( ) a couple of things stood out that she said.
condoms protect against disease that spreads through fluid contact and things that are spread through skin to skin that is covered by the condom. but lets say a person has syphillis(excuse the spelling) and the sore is on his balls..the condom does not cover that area..and you can still get the disease.
the pictures she showed...i didnt eat for the rest of the day.
she also talked about the number of married/in relationship people that come in there with STD's. she said the only person you can be monogomous(sp) with is yourself. sad...isnt it:(
one of my co-workers said...if its curable..im okay with it. :(
i havent seen the sponge in quite some time. i doing yasmine(the pill) but was actually looking to maybe try the IUD....i dont like the taking pills thing everyday. i mess up too often:(

The sponge was my sh*t back in the day. I loved, loved, loved it and I sometimes believe it they had not taken it off the market might son might not be here. LOL
I loved the fact that I could put it in right after my shower and fugg until my hearts content that night if me and my man chose to.
AIDS got really rampant during my later years of college, but before then condoms had gone out in the 60's. LOL I hate em. Always have, probably always will.
I agree with the term, neccessary evil.
The last time I was with my current the condom broke mid-way he didn't have any more and I decided if I had to go all the way home to get more, I'd just stay while I was there. FUGGED UP the whole night but I wasn't about to do anything without it. Dammit!!!
