Morning I find that if I'm hushing on drive by I'd like to see every thing that was said this day. If I stop by and see New posts those are only posts someone has responded to recently then if I come back that afternoon and more new post have arrived alot of TODAY's post have now become part of the regular board.
If I can't log on till midnite - I'd like to see everythign that was talked about all day, in one space - that way I can get in all todays conversations and not just the top ones.

Click it.....it will log you out.
Now the site thinks you are a guest and will give you all the topics...TODAY :)

This is it! Thanks Pam. Just like the old hush, the "Today's post" button allows me to see ALL of the most recent posts of all of the threads. This list also includes the "new posts" as well.
Now Rock is correct...all I have to do is log out (I actually view the hush with 2 different browsers...but the result is the same)...but if you ask me, the "Today's post" is way more usefull than the "Recent" posts...so it would be great if we can just cut out the middle man (by logging out) and simply use the "today's post".
:D
Maybe if you want, you can do a trial and see if the hush likes it.

Also if you log out you have to log back in each time you want to post. Logging out is only good if all you want to do is read and not respond.

Z, (allow me to get all nerdy on yer arse!!!) this was one of the bugs on the software script developed by vbULLETIN.COM.
See, back in the day like 2000-2001...that Hush used to crash like once a week. This was due to server over load of resources i.e. too many mysql DB connections for the server to handle.
Now take in acct that I host the Hush with a host that is running about 40-60 accts on one box. So out of those 40-60 accts/domains.... you’ll have a VB like the Hush that has as much traffic or more traffic than we do...well if you leave the FDB connections set to never time out??
Then the resources will run high and bog down the server, thus causing a crash or basically the machine will lock up and have to be manually rebooted from someone at the NOC.
Well, the site will not be up until that happens! If the NOC does not have sophisticated server monitoring equipment, then the operator may only be alerted by trouble tickets submitted via email that the server is hung. This can take a longer time.
So, in other words, vbulletin modified their software script to force mysql db connections to drop even though you are cookied with the password on your PC’s cache and are able to remain logged in that way.
Try Rocks suggestion.

Uh...um.. Thanks Admin! :D
That is not a problem. I already knew how to access the "Today's Post"....I was just making a suggestion.
Actually, I like what I do...and that is to browse "Today's Post" with my other browser (Mozilla Firefox) and when I want to respond, I just switch over to my internet explorer. Vola! No need to log out....and it saves keystrokes. :D
