With my grown ass daughter now living in Chicago...she called, asking to send her a new coat...I always buy her a coat every Christmas..leather, down, wool, whatever the style is...now this heffa is asking for long johns and a "MINK"....too funny:D :D :eek: :eek: :D :D ....


Chicago pulls no punches when it comes to being COLD.....all I could tell her is your not in Sunny California any more!!!!


Guess, I'm going to have to check with MSX...for the style in Chicago Cold???...she also has me shopping for snow boots...WTF???

I may buy a casual short pant coat every year, but hell here in Va Beach it has been so damn unusually warm this fall (if ya can even call it that) ya don't even get to wear a damn jacket...

Same here in Dallas. I do need to get my kids new jackets and myself one. I usually just wear a leather bomber jacket, but I want a new coat this year. :p

i just got a wool maxi coat last weekend at Burlington Coat Factory. and, i got a blue bubble coat that i'll wear for sporty purposes.

I HATE wearing a coat. I'll be outside in a scarf and gloves but leave my coat. I hate the bulky feel of a coat, especially a down coat.

This past year I bought a new coat for the first time in 3 or 4 years and that was because my other coat was ruined in a flood in my old apartment.

I rarely wear it anyway, most of the time it's in the car or draped over my arm.

I hate coats!!

I think they're pretty warm. I buy a coat every season just to be fluctuating in my attire

i don't know about down coats.

i like wool and bought a really nice one at burlington coat that i don't think i'll ever let go.

I don't know anything about down coats, I've never had one before (but I think they make people look like marshmallows).

I don't necessarily buy a coat every year, but I sure do own a lot of them. I'm more likely to buy several all at once.
