I know it seems strange. . and it is. . but, I never do .. and I always end up with the flu~!!! :rolleyes: Go figure~!!

She, on the other hand, gets one every year because her Pediatrician recommends it. . she has sickle cell anemia~!! :(

Nope.

I got one last year because everyone says you should get them. I got soooooooo sick!!!! Never again.

Do you ever get the flu~?? I don't think it makes that much of a difference. . cause I've heard so many people that have gotten the shot. . . come down with the flu~!!! :eek: :rolleyes:

My daughter has been one of the lucky ones~!!! ;)

I was told to get one because of my asthma. I was told that IF I got the flu it would not be as bad if I took the flu shot.

Not true. I STILL got the flu and I was STILL miserable. Not to mention that my arm was so sore I could barely move it for 2 weeks after taking the shot. I had to type on my job...talk about miserable. Ugh!

Then as soon as my arm got back to normal...I had the flu.

I will NEVER take one again. I'll just take my chances.

BE if you've never had one, personally I don't think it makes a difference. I'm not a doctor but I know what it did to me.

Me too Que! I have never had that shot and I haven't had the flu in years.

Never had the shot, and I have gotten the flu but only twice that I know of and it was like 8 years in between....
