the Haunted Hush

Does anybody else feel like the hush is haunted...that there are some ghosts lurking about...in invisible mode....plottin and plannin ways of keepin the hush drama-full?

i wonder if we could all agree to not use the invisible mode for about 2 weeks......methinks that the hush ghost would then BE ghost!

Going invisible mode has nothing to do with the drama of the week. Even if we opt to not use invisible sinnah could still be used...so what is the point.

Interesting point.......

for some, invisibility has its advantages as was seen throughout
the week.....some people just want to see whats up without showing their hand..

if its used improperly...it can be used to launch slanderous
attacks...

Based on events earlier this week, I even know the 'why' of it now....but that is info I will keep for myself, 'cuz if I dropped that, this whole place would blow up...

But I will say this....In my opinion I think the confessional should go....its been abused to the max....the spirit of the confession is now warped beyond redemption....all because there are those who want to play silly games....and I aint never ever gonna forget this shit.....

BTW Que..why dont YOU pull yourself outta invisible mode? before I start thinking that you're plotting and planning :upto:

Personally I think the DRAMA is what has made the Hush what it is today.

Without it this would not be the place we have all come to know and love.

Of course it's not the only attraction, or even the best, but it's a part of the puzzle. It all works together to form this place we call Home and Family.

Don't let this mess get the best of you...that's why it's so hard for me to use the friend word around here, because unless you have truly developed off-line friendships, you never truly will know who is for you or who is against you. Take the Hush drama with a grain of salt...I am sure some folks are hurt by all of this but we all know what happens when too many women congragate together for awhile...shit gets started! Sad but ~ohso~ true.:(

but I tend to think that drama like this past week is destructive......it tends to pull family away....its already done that with me and someone else....

I see your point Mack. People are hurt when Drama occurs, I agree. But the Hush was not built on lovey dovey relationships.

I also don't understand why it would pull anyone away.

This is not real-life. This is cyber-life. And as such people pretend to be things they are not, they fantasize, they lie, they become the people who they can't be in real life. They reveal bits and pieces of themselves but rarely the whole persona.

Then you also have misunderstandings. People seeing small bits of a person and believing they know them. They post something they agree to several times and suddenly they are best buds when in actuality they are as different as day and night. TNC was a prime example of that. We bonded because of the Hush. Off board...that bond was tested repeatedly. Fact is...we never really knew each other we just agreed on some topics...in a cyber world. That's not the stuff friendships should be made of.

Then you have situations where people fight in a cyber world. They disagree and clash constantly, when in real-life they are so much alike you'd think they were seperated at birth and had they met under other circumstances would probably be best friends.

I said all that to say this. As someone who has been involved in more Hush drama than a lil bit, I know first hand that you can't take this sh*t to heart. You can't let it affect you or how you feel about the Hush.

I am here for one reason and one reason only. To get my post on. All the Drama in the world will not change that because the fact is when it's all said and done...

Gena will turn off the computer and resume life...until Tastey is resurrected for another day. ;)

and ohso...i didnt say that u have to be in invisible mode to plot and plan...but it does HELP those that are!

i think there are people on the hush who ONLY post in the confessional...and have never posted anywhere else...AND...observe us...haunt us...

I don't do the invisible thing, i even posted a question about why some be invisible and then turn around and post.

I think the confessional should stay....i have my days i need to confess like...(i'll post that one day)

I just think the capabilities of SINNAH should be looked at.

Let the confessional stay, just enhance it a bit.

-Only a paid member can use it.
-Admin can hook it up so that he can keep track of who sinnah is.

IMO the real issue with sinnah is when sinnah is used to pop shit.
There was nothing positive or insightful about the things sinnah said. Basically the things said were personal and directed at people that sinnah can't stand. It wasn't a confession at all.

About the confessional... i think it should stay... It's no different then any of the other forums.. You just don't believe everything you read... I don't...

But I do believe we need to do something about Sinnah.. Especially this one specific sinnah... I think it's time for Admin to step in and handle him/her/it.. :upto:

I was gonna post as sinnah when i posted about giving money to a stripper of the same sex. I didn't want to be accussed of being gay or something, but then i said...WTF i know who and what i am, I know who and what i fuck, people gonna think it either way, me posting as sinnah or me as seductive tee...so what was the point.

scenario....

i register as userXYZ
i register as userABC

i don't PAY for anything...
but continue to get 7 day memberships...

OR

i just log in as sinnah ... and check out what is happening in the confessional...for free! i create my own lil drama in the confessional for my own amusement...

You can also read the entire board as a Buster.

When I am at someone else's house and I come onto the Hush just to see what's going on I don't log in. I just come here and see everythang...as a Buster because I don't want my I.D. in that person's cookies.

So it does not take a paid member to know everything that's going on here either.
