I was talking to a friend today who is writing a special poem for a mutual friend's wedding. I suggested to him that when the poem is finished he could print it and have it framed as a wedding present.

He asked me how did I think of the idea and I told him that I decorate my home with things I've found online (poetry, pictures, etc) and printed then framed them. It's how I decorate on a budget.

Do you have any inexpensive decorating tips that you use to make your house into a home?

no... i dont have a home! but when i get one, i think i'm gonna have an interior decorator do my home (one of those ones from tv!) i know what i like and i want and if they are too expensive, then, i already have a style in mind. one of the things i have found myself lucky enough to do is find the furnichings and accessories on clearance and at discount stores like Burlington or Macy's Basement. I would start buying peices, but, I currently have no where to store them. But so long as Cost Plus is still in business, I'll be able to design my future home the way I want; the style i like will never go out of style.

the inexpensive ways are to handmake everything you do. Ikea is another store that helps you get great furniture for inexpensive prices simply because you have to put the stuff together yourself.
