Well - I'm cool - I'll just keep looking - maybe their financing will fall thru :upto:

Maybe I'll find something even bigger and better.

Keep on workin' it gurrrrrrrrrl! There are lots of people who would be on cloud 9 just to be able to make an offer. :D

And...you might be glad that you had to wait for the house that you will move into. :D

You're correct things happen for a reason - I might get up a couple more hundred to pad myself even better. So it's all good really. I didn't become emotionally attached just EXCITED.

It will come when it's time for it to come! :)

look for something better.....not bigger.....

big houses are a BIG pain in the ass...everything is MORE expensive.....if ya want some money in your pocket at the end of the month....get a house that you can easily manage monetarily and physically....take it from a brotha that knows.

Hang in there girl, its just the beginning. I think we had about 3 house that fell through and one we passed on. Then me & my daughter went to look at the house I am in now and as soon as we walked in the door and down the hall, she said this is the one mama, we gotta get this one. And we did. I love my house too.

The constant looking can get tiring, but its well worth it in the end.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! I have enjoyed putting up my tribulations and trials here because HGTV and Househunters sure shows it all going smoothly - but mine is the 'layman's' guide, lol

Ya'll it's out there and I'll be ready to pounce, besides it's been kinda nice looking at that money in my account, lol

May GOD bless you with your househunting.I am a 27yr woman with three sons.I purchased my first home last year and it was a trying experience.I'm from Southern California and I had to make up a word for the home prices, straight "RIDICULARY"!!!!!!!!!!! I looked at at least thirty homes that were either overly priced brokedown palaces or had multiple offers on them.Girl, I was frustrated and frag-ile through the whole process. But, I wouldn't change that experience for anything.I learned patience and preserverance through it all.I'm currently refinancing and looking for an income property to purchase. It's important for African Americans to own apart of what our ancestors built.Good Luck girlfriend ;) !!!
