How long do you wait?

Fam, I have a question. How long do you wait for someone to show up for a meeting or date, before you bounce?

15 mins
30 mins
45 mins
60 mins
Until they show up

Case in point, a friend of mine (I used to work with his wife at Netnoir) called me last week and wants to hire me to set up a website. we scheduled a meeting for Sunday, at my crib for noon. I called him at 10am and asked him if we were still on. He asked me if we could move the meeting back to 1:00pm.

I said yes.

1:00pm-No Show, no phone call
1:30pm-No show, no phone call
2:00pm-No show, no phone call
2:15pm- I left the house to do some errands

Got back home a few hours later and he's called twice...first call was at 2:25pm saying that he was on the way?:rolleyes:

Then when I called him back later that night, he has the nerve to ask me..."What happened to me?"

So, Fam....Q: How long do you wait?

I think when doing business the maxium time would be 30 minutes if I hadn't received a call from them. I feel that if you know you have an appointment you need to honor it or if you are going to be late, at least call at the appointed time 1:00, 2:30 or whatever and see if the party would like to re-schedule or if they have the time to accommodate your tardiness.

For social matters such as a date, I still think the 30 minute rule applies it will only be extended if they call prior and ask that let's you know how courteous & respectful they are of your time.

I don't like to be kept waiting, business or social. If you're gonna be late have the common courtesy to call. Otherwise don't expect me to be waiting for your ass when you show up late. :beating

15 minutes is being too nice...you're talking about meeting for business...if the nigga is late getting there on time, how do you think he'll be with your money?
