I was thinking how sometimes folk are in denial about there relationships. What are some indication that you probably not the only one!

Not being able to call there house would probably be a dead give away for me! Especially if we consider ourselves dating!!!WTF

1. When the only number you have is either the cell or the pager number...that ain't your man.

2. If you've never met his friends or family after several months of dating and they live 2 blocks away...that ain't your man.

3. If your picture is not displayed in his house...that ain't your man.

4. If he only drops by late late at night, and leaves before dawn...that ain't your man.

5. If you have no idea where he works....that ain't your man.

Well i went to meet his parents, and hung out with his mom when she came for a visit....his father calls me every year on my party.

You are always referred to as shorty, baby girl, babee, etc, but never by your real name; Easy way to NOT mistake anyone for someone else. A generic name is a big azz turn off with me. My name is Sydney; so address me as such. :blah:

Sorry Tastey....

I cant agree with this one at all......nowadays this is all some people have -
Just a Cell Phone...with the rates as they are, it can be even better to have a celly than a telly........and LOTS of people roll like this.....so please dont make that mistake that because all he has is a cell phone that he aint your man.....

Re-read it Mack.

I said the only number you have.

Granted some people only have a cell phone as a matter of fact until about a month ago that's all I had for awhile. But when a man has a home phone but says..."i'm never there baby, call my cell"...i repeat

that ain't your man. :)

If i didn't need a line at home i'd have just the cell myself. I'm actually think about discontinuing alot of things on my phone.

I gotta agree with Tastey on the cell phone. I don't know any mam who has a home phone but won't give it to you -unless he is a)married or b) living with his girlfriend.

When he only drives to your home and parks and you have to take your car everywhere - is it because his might be noticed and you in the passenger seat might be noticed as well.

Indeed, I concur.

Not everyone is meant to have all the damn numbers right away. And sometimes, it doesn't bother them that all they have is the cellie.

I agree with Black on that one, that is all my man has. Believe me I have been to the house, stayed over etc. It would probably be all of the other instances that they are giving you. I think in the back of a woman's mind she knows when her so-called man is creepin'.

My girl lives in a lush pad in San Francisco and her lifestyle is so expensive that she only has a cell. She just was not using that land line. Another sistah I know in Chicago lives in Lincoln Park got rid of her land line too--cell only. If we didn't have ADT I'd get rid of mine too.

Understandable.

However, there's a difference between ONLY having a cell and ONLY GIVING-OUT the cell #.
