Her name is Victoria......I've called her Vick...most of her life...

Not Vicki, Vickie, Vickey, Tori.....either Victoria...or Vick...

Personally, I like my middle name better than my 1st....

I don't really dislike my name. . .I just don't like the typical abbreviations because I don't feel they fit my personality. It also took years for me to appreciate the whole meaning of my name which Christmas Angel. . .so the only modification I would/have made is to write my first and middle name as if it were one.

Well I will say this....black folks sho know how to be creative with names because there are some crazy names out there......too crazy. Can we please name our children something people can pronounce and spell for once. I know we like to be about culture and our people are good for trying to stand out and be different, but come on...some of these names make you feel like you are speaking a new language or something. Let's keep it simple people.

Anyway. I will say that I always like the name of that guy on Star Trek...don't know how to spell it, but it just always sounded so rough and I said if I had a boy I would have it in the name some where. It's Chicotay (sp?).

Well I never had a boy. Oh well.
