Is there an email virus....

that intercepts emails send them to other people and then responds to them?

I sent an email about something to one friend and all of a sudden I get an email from another friend with my email attached and a response from that person.

So I go off and they both are swearing up and down that they were not communicating to each other about the email I sent...so how did that happen. I keep all my sent mail and I know for a fact that I didn't send the email to both of them because I just hit reply and answered the original email.

Any thoughts? By the way the response was directly related to the forwarded email.

ummm

i know yahoo has some issues where folks get sent stuff with an attch and it appears to come from real peeps...

but i'm not so sure about your situation.

Well they both claiming they don't know what I am talking about so I squashed it but I ain't believing it - I have never seen a virus that connects two people who know each other and then responds and sends it back to the orginator.

A shit starting virus - wow!

There is a problem, we are experiencing it at work. And we are "Big Blue." Hopefully they fix the problem REAL soon. I do know that I've gotten like 15 emails today saying either Delivery Failure and/or replies to an email I didn't send.
