Do your kids normally trick or treat door to door?

Since our country is at war, and with the threat of antrax as well as other biochemical warfare will you stop them from going this year?

What are YOUR plans for Halloween? Going to a party? Dressing up? Or chilling in the house watching CNN?

My sweetie's outgrown the treat or treat thing, but in the past we've done the either the mall thing or went to the ice skating rink.

Well I usually take my son to Valley Ranch area to one subdivision that my daughters friend lives in. He said he didn't want to go out this year. He mentioned the mall, but I don't think we will be doing that. I may just let him invite a couple of his friends over for treats and drinks and get them a DVD movie. Its a school night, so we won't be doing too much.

My boys go around the neighborhood with their friends in a group.. I take my daughter around my street only.. Then I come back and hand out candy...

I was supposed to be going to a party this weekend.. I was going as a pimp.. :D

But the party has been postponed until the weekend after so I doubt that I will dress up.. Doesn't make since to dress up after Halloween.. Probably will just be a regular party now...

his dad loves it. but from now on, our son is gonna get hooked up at school and that is it. no door to door anymore. the world and the times are changing.

Stopped taking my girls about 5 years ago. Just seemed a little too much like begging to me and we don't need any extra cavities. Since then, they attend a carnival at the local boys and girls club where they go after school and after that, we rent a movie or two and watch it. We did hide candy in the house one year. After they finished tearing up looking for it, I decided that might not be such a good idea, but may let them do it this year if they want to. No trick or treating though.

And why will folk bring their children to your house when the lights are off? If the lights are out, that means you don't stop at that house! Hell even I know that and I never trick or treated as a kid. :blah:

We are going to my daughter's school, to our Church and back home this year~!!!

It's been reported here in Jersey that a couple of Arab men went to the local Costco stores and purchased more than $15,000 worth of candy recently. . . and paid for it in cash~!!

They are being investigated by the FBI~!! :hammer

I wish I could find the link for you guys to check out the story~!! Pretty scary~!!

I have basically broken my daughter of this habit much to her dismay.

I can't really see any point in it beyond scoring some free candy. . .then what? I can find better use for my money than rotting the neighborhood kids teeth.

I guess you can tell I was never too much on this holiday myself
