There is this man that i work with that i am interested in getting to know better. One thing though...he is big..really big, but not disgustingly fat. He's quite a bit taller than i am...and i am almost 5'11". He played football in college and he looks like a huge football player. But he is one of the nicest men i have met in a long time. But i don't know if i would be able to overlook the size issue. I like big men...but he is quite large.

Has anyone else been with a large man. Is sex different? Can they keep up?

I think you will be able to overlook the size in time if he has a good heart. The heart is the key to it all. A loving person's flaws are easily over shadowed by their personality and such.

And the sex......well, I always heard that some larger men are not quite blessed in that area and have a friend that had experience with one large man. The rumor was true in that situation. But that was just one. There are probably man big men out there who are packing. :D

I've never been with a BIG guy, but i was with this guy that had quite a bit of stomach.....he was sweet but had a few issues i couldn't get past...he had a cat...and i don't date men with cats.

I also had a friend who dated a man who in my opinion looks like a light skinned Fat Albert. She is a sz 6, very petite. She says that she was hesitant because of his size at first but he is loving and kind, and the sex is good...they are happy.

So really if you like this man, I would not let his size determine whether or not to be with him.

What if he loses weight..then you may have missed out. Give him and chance and get to know him better. Then make your decison based off that..not looks. Looks come and go. larger men got energy and drive that i notice their slimmer counter part lack from time to time. not that they ain't got issues. just, i noticed they are much more confident of the male species. open about the insecurities. but...that just may be the ones that live here in the bay area! :p

date him girl...you'll get use to it. is he ugly in the face? no? then date him. shoot. if he was ugly in the face, then, i would discourage ya! (i know i'm mean...) because you could never get past the size unless you find him attractive in the face (or in some form)....

I'm open-minded enough to get to know some one and appreciate them for who they are but I am also realistic enough to know that some body-types and I just don't get along. I think that you should try to put aside the fact that he is overweight. I know that physical attraction is very important, but if it is a top priority then don't mess with him. I am quite sure that he will have no problem finding someone who will appreciate him for himself.

Being a big man, I have never had a woman complain. Women feel safe and comfortable in a big man's arms. And I think big men compensate for being "big" by knowing how to handle a women in the bedroom.

and the only thing I'd add is that you'd have to feel comfortable and physically attracted to that person.

I like built men, that have some weight on them. . .my daughter's father was 245 but he was also an athlete (football player). I wouldn't take a 245 non-muscular unless he was quite tall.

My weight limitations are around 210-225 lbs in the 5'10" to 6'2" range.

my take on this...the guy I was with was a really really big guy and I tried my best to look past it. The sex to be honest yall wasn't all that bad cause brotha made up for what he was limited in...the bedroom wasn't a major issue, it was other things...his "bathroom" problems, his needing to shower many many times a day and after a while getting comfortable and not doing it, his inability to fit in the front seat of my car or ride comfortably in the back seat, there were so many little things that caused problems that couldn't over time be overlooked anymore and when I say big he was big

Alright. . .I'm glad you said this because these are some of the preconceived thoughts that I will admit to having issues with. . . .some of the same thoughts that some men would have in regards to a big woman.
