Should we change the month of Hushnic???

Fam, I got a PM from a member asking me why Hushnic is always in August. Hmmm, good Question....Should we change the month? Is everyone down with August? Would nmore folks come if it was in like June or July?

my initial response is NO...

Its been 3rd week of August since 2000....

and IMHO no matter what month its in still wont guarantee a good turn out of more folks.....

No, keep it as is. To me (and this is just my opinion) June & July are heavy months for family vacations. Why change it to one of those months and you have even more people not showing up?
But thats just my opinion. I am already planning to attend in August.

if you're gonna change it, my vote is to change it to a 3 day holiday weekend like martin luther king's bday... i usually don't have anything planned in january!

NO....change is not necessary......Although I've been a member since the first Hushnic...and just partially attended Nawlin's, I had great fun......having socialized with my local peeps on various occasions...sticking to local dates and times...can sometimes be a conflict......It's always been nice to know........ one thing for sure is that the Hushnic takes place in August!!!!!
