Awww, shit, lost my post!

I had a nice sized post typed out, and went to submit it, and the screen sai i had used too many smilies, maybe it was six. It said go back and I hit the back button and was left with a blank text box... and all my text was gone! WTF happened?

Dang! That happened to me before. That's pretty frustrating. I get to the point where If I remember I copy my big post before submitting....
