See, I just got digital cable....and I like it. And to my surprise, I really like the stations that just play music (no videos...just music)...

But while looking at the latest Best Buy paper ad...

They have a Direct TV 3 room system....

Cost: $150 - $150(rebate) = $zero
Free DVD/VHS Combo instantly (I needed one)!
for $100 extra, I get the TiVo....monthly cost $4.99.

In short:

This is the best cable deal I have EVER seen!!!!

I am soooo tempted! But the apt manager said that we are not supposed to have the dish installed at that place...although most tennants have a disk installed.

I am sooo tempted...

Is there a better deal than the one above?

It's a good deal, but if I were you I would look at package deals for satellite. Make sure that you get the same channels that you get with digital cable. Also, they got me because all my tv's are High Definition BUT those free receivers that I got are not HD receivers. That's an entirely nother installation.

Thanks for the advice. I will take a deep breath and a cold shower...and look deeper into this. But the deal looks sweeet!...at least on the surface.
