Yes the teenager got custody, but through the father. The courts think that the father will care for the kids. Tony Danza had to rough the pops up a little.

The teenager was found not guilty of the charges of assault. At the end it showed him illegally buying a gun off the street.

I saw when he roughed up the father outside the court house....did the lady agree to care for the co-workers child in the event of her death?

Yes, she agreed to it. At the end, the two women and children all had dinner together.:)
