Also, if you notice....just one week ago, the country was focused on the planes...now we're focused on the mail.......what will they have us focused on next?

In my opinion if this is related to the Sept 11 attacks then the perpertrators are really dumb about picking targets.

I mean a tabloid newspaper worker, a TV newsman, and now a Congressman.

Why not send one directly to George Dubya? :confused: Why not send out thousands of junk mail all over the country infect as many at once as possible? 12 is alot but if your goal is terrorism why not infect 1200?

So far it's just not adding up for me personally.

Just because I'm from SC doesn't make me stupid or make me think everything is a government (yes I know how to spell it) conspiracy. It is not adding up at this point so the intelligent thing to do is wait until it does.

Tastey, what difference does it make where the powder went...that could be just the beginning...for all we know it's headed to the general public in some kind of advertisement, pre-approved credit card....or whatever.

This is a clear case of terrorism.

What would it take to convience you it was...100,000 dead behind it?

In my opinion...BUSH knew this was coming...they warned him but just didn't say how, when or where.....soon as he put out the warning...case 1 and 2 develop..and that was just last week...now the number is 12...and at the rate the going it'll be 24 by Friday......

My thing is this, what if this hits a household where a child just checks the mailbox when they come..see something addressed to them or whatever and they open it...not knowing a thing...there it is all in the house...mom not knowing a thing.

I know i'm stretching and exaggarating but the possibilty is there...and believe it or not..as i was typing this..CNN just reported that a child of a NBC employee just tested positive of anthrax.

The people who ran those planes into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon were genius. They chose a perfect target with far reaching consequences. It just doesn't seem like the same minds are at work here.

There are dozens of terrorists groups that have nothing to do with Bin Laden and would choose now as a prime opportunity to strike.

Including those American terrorists who were followers of Timothy McVeigh.

Besides that these were mailed in September before the warning was ever made by the President.

There are alot of factors at work here and alot of things going on.

AND...

There are 2 types of Antrax out there now. The type that killed the man in Florida is NOT the same as the ones showing up in powder form in these envelopes. And there are OTHER types.

Like I said there are alot of factors at work here and I for one choose to become fully informed before I start making up all sorts of scenarios in my head.

It may equal terrorism it may not...but one thing for sure is there are many, many among us that are pyscho, and hurting innocent people from children to adults is nothing new...... Media Hype brings out a lot of sickos.... But yes, we should be careful..
bin laden is not acting alone...so who really knows????

Personally, I think he's waiting for the military to come out of the sky and hit the ground, so he can trap 100's of military in one of those caves or two.....now that's some scarry shit....

anthrax, bio-chemical warfare, germ warfare economic and social warfare are all deadly...

I think anthrax does have a lot to do with terrorism......

to me it seems a perfect way to take out a country with little trace at all.
