....i recently purchased a laptop that has xp.
sometimes when i am typing the cursor will just JUMP to another area on the page.....
this has caused me a few embarassing typos....but more than that...i just wanna know if i should be gettin my money back for this thing.
i sorta think it has something to do with my typing style which RESTS my wrists on the laptop....putting pressure........
i dunno...
any suggestions?

Que my laptop at work has XP and it is one sensitive mother, lol I type upwards on a good day 82-85 words a minute and more than once it will either freeze up or it will just start typing at fucking random, lol lol
I don't necessarily even like XP I like my old 98 on my home machine, lol I refuse to upgrade. the only thing i like about XP is the way things slide around, lol
that didn't help you any, YET I wanted to post, lol

...being lazy when you type...that is what hinders your speed and your accuracy WHENEVER you type, be it on a laptop or desk top...

That's what was happening to me on my first laptop, and that's before I added XP. The heat of your hands hovering over, or a wisp of the finger as you hit the space bar, it reestablishes the cursor. I have been using a secondary keyboard if I know I am going to be typing a ton.
