Who is suppose to give a mother a mothers ring?

And if you have more children after you recieved a mothers ring, who should add the other children to the ring?

I always thought the children gave the ring.. We gave my mother her ring about 5 years ago.. I don't think she will be adding anymore children to hers.. :upto:

I can't wait for my kids to get older so I can get my ring.. I want my ring now.. May have to go and get it myself... :p

It is a ring that mothers wear with stones in it. Each stone represents a child. An associate of mine bought herself one about 4 years ago; had a baby the next year and has been trying to find someone to add another stone to it.

You can also have the necklace or bracelet. I am hoping my girls will give me one some day.

Thats what i thought...my mom bought mine before i had my daughter...it has mine and my sons stone in it. I'll probably put my daughters in it myself.

My sister wants to buy my othersister one for her birthday...I told them either Ma or her kids are suppose to do that.
