Ok as you all know I'm at my Momma's - so we getting dressed for my Daughters 10th Birthday Shindig and I am putting on my underwear kinda fast because I am rushing and my mom bursts in and goes "where is your FOUNDATION" You need some on to make a smooth line.

Now I had just forgotten to get our my good foundation underwear because I will put some one depending on the outfit. If it's slinky I'll put on my pair I got from Macy's that goes all the way up under your breast (LOL)

If I'm going on a hot first date. I certainly will put on some.

When I was in a relationship I would lay out on the bed my clothes, stockings, hair for the evening and if I were wearing foundation and my dude would say to me "At least you keep it real" LOL LOL

So the question is

Ladies - do you wear foundation. It ain't the ones your momma used to wear

Men - does this kind of thing have any effect on you? If you knew your woman had it on.

P.S. If I know intimacy is going to take place, I will pass on the foundation, lol

I'm assuming by foundation you mean something along the lines of a girdle.

I generally will wear control top pantyhose, or control top shaper briefs. But I don't wear them as much as I used to.

My mother always taught me to "hold in my stomach" no matter what. lol

Old habits are hard to break.

lol..at foundation...i was like..what she talkinbout?

i brought one of those body things from lanebryant a couple of years ago..ive worn it twice..when i try to wear something form fitting.

i have a couple of panty girdles things...i might wear it when im PMSing and am looking a bit plump. but i dont wear them on a regular. most of my clothes are loose anyways..so what i have to hide is hidden.

I hate wearing pantyhose, Ive never owned a girdle, but if I have too, I will wear them, control pantyhose is about the only "foundation" Ive ever worn though.

Not all the time, it depends on the outfit. I usually just keep everything lifted and in w/posture.

There are a lot more choices now than the older, traditional ones. . .Victoria's Secret makes a lot of slips, half slips, thongs, body briefers, etc. that are nice.

Warner, Cachet and Bare Sensations also makes a lot that aren't binding, offer good support, a soft, smooth silhouette and are a little less expensive.

..cuz' I was like 'What the hell does makeup have to do with panties'

All my panties are low rise, which is part of the reason I hate wearing stockings. They come up over my hips, my panties don't. So I end up trying to pull something up that just won't go...

SIGH..

I've been working on training my waist, so I've been wearing waist cinchers. You are supposed to wear them everyday, but I haven't been. I will eventually.

I have this one http://www.fredericks.com/images/5/51164_86_sml_a_3500.jpg

I got that one as well! I don't wear it often however cause I would like to inhale AND exhale every once in awhile, lol

Hmm, you brought this thread up,lol

Looking on it now, I just like feeling 'secure' in my clothes. They now make the light control panties in all kinds of colors and with a nice bra - what's the big deal?
