What's the average you spend at the grocery store?

How often do you go?

Do you take the kids?

I usually spend around $200 a month.. I try to go one time and get everything I need.. If I go again, it's just for bread, milk, and other things that go quick..

I normally spend between $100-125.00 but I am coupon queen and I normally save between $15.00-30.00 in coupons.

I spend the most at one time when I stock up, this only occurs maybe every 3-5 mos. I've spent around $140-150 and that's more than I spend in a month's time.

Generally, my weekly/biweekly trips to the store come in anywhere from under $5 to $30. The most I will spend is around $60-70 and if I do then I may not be back for three or four weeks or so. And that's only to get staples like tea, cereal, sugar, eggs.

But to be honest, since I don't eat or serve a lot of meat I notice that my money goes further. You can easily spend $50 on meat in a week and that's is you're cooking for 4 or less. . .most of the times I only have to prepare meat for my daughter so that saves me a lot, too.

ok...then my damn kids are just greedy...i just spent 118.66 at the store this weekend...and i know i went about 3 weeks ago.....

See i buy alot of stuff they don't need but just like to have for them...I'm stopping that.

Now on off weeks i may spend less than $30 for basic stuff like milk, bread, etc....i refuse to buy more than 2-3 gallons of juice a week...my kids run through that stuff...

In the trunk of my car i 6 boxes of Caprisuns because if i bring them all in the house the drink them up...Shoppers had them on sale 2 for $3.00...the 10 pack box.

I would say we spend about $150 a month on groceries for the household ($75 for me) and I spend about $70 on my own personal groceries.

We grocery shop weekly.

I do my biggest grocery shopping every two weeks at payday. I spend anywhere from 85.00 to 130.00. But then, I am in and out of the store between paydays and may spend anywhere from 10.00 to 40.00 during that time.

I take my kids sometimes. When I do, I tend to spend a little more.
